About BetterWho
BetterWho helps you build a property management company that depends less on your daily involvement. Through recruitment, coaching, consulting, and peer learning, we help you develop a capable team and the working practices that allow it to take on more responsibility as your business grows.

Our Mission and Vision
A successful company should give its owner more choice about how to spend their time. Our work helps make that possible through teams that can make sound decisions, follow through, and keep the business running with less daily intervention.
Mission
Equip property management owners to build self-managing teams, so they can lead their businesses with greater freedom over their time.
We help owners build the capabilities and structure their teams need to carry more responsibility. That can mean recruiting the right person, developing a leader, or changing how work is managed across the company.
Vision
A property management industry where owners can build successful companies without remaining essential to every part of daily operations.
We want owners to have confidence in how their companies operate when they are elsewhere. Growth should be supported by capable people and reliable practices, leaving owners room to lead and pursue their own priorities.
Our Story
Matthew Tringali coined the term Remote Team Member for a remote colleague who owns results in a role, not just a list of tasks, and he built the first direct-hire RTM service for property management. Jay Berube is an entrepreneur in real estate and property management who builds the processes that turn leads into clients. Together they bring more than 40 years of combined experience to BetterWho. Their work with owners showed a consistent pattern: a new hire helps most when the company is ready to hand over real responsibility. BetterWho therefore combines recruiting with coaching, consulting, and The WhoCrew mastermind, so owners can build the team, the Operational Framework, and the leadership their business needs to run without depending on them for everything.

The Principles Behind Our Work
Our values shape the recommendations we make and how we work with your team. They keep the focus on changes your business can put into practice and sustain.
01
Clarity before action
We take time to understand the problem before recommending a solution. You should know what needs to change, why it matters, and what information supports the decision.
02
Do the right things in the right order
Your team has limited time to introduce change. We prioritize the work around what is holding the business back and what needs to be in place for the next step.
03
Keep decisions with the client
We provide evidence, recommendations, and practical support while you make the decisions about your business. The work should leave your leaders better equipped to make those decisions themselves.
04
Pack over lone wolf
Strong teams share knowledge and follow through on commitments others depend on. We help people clarify their roles, learn from one another, and take responsibility for their part of the work.
05
Freedom as the goal
Your time belongs in the definition of business success. Alongside operational and financial progress, we look at what your team can handle independently and where your involvement is still needed.
What Would You Like to Make More Time For?
Whether you want to develop the business, spend more time with family, or take a vacation without checking in, the team behind you matters. On a strategy call, we can discuss what your company needs to give you that choice.
