Privacy Policy
Who we are
Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at BetterWho, LLC (“company”, “we/us”). The website address for BetterWho, LLC is: https://betterwho.com.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at info@betterwho.com.
This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website.
Visitor data collected
When you fill out a form on the site, we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and message. If you reached the site through a link that carries campaign details, your browser keeps those details until you close the tab, and any form you send includes them.
When you buy on the site, we collect your name, your email address, and your company if you give it. When you accept our Terms of Service, we record the time and your IP address as proof of your acceptance. You then pay on Stripe’s checkout page. Your card or bank details and your billing address are entered there, never on this site.
We may also collect limited data from other sources, such as public databases, social media, marketing partners, and other outside sources. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include: social media profile information; marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links).
Use of data
We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our agreement with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.
We use personal information collected via our website for a variety of business purposes, such as:
- To send you marketing and promotional communications. You can opt-out of our marketing emails at any time.
- To send administrative information to you.
- To process and manage your job applications.
- To request feedback and to contact you about your use of our services.
- To enable communications between you and potential business partners or employers, with both parties’ consent.
- To respond to legal requests.
Who we share your data with
We only share information to comply with laws, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations, such as sharing your job application file with a potential employer.
We do not sell or share your data with any other entity outside BetterWho, other than for the purposes stated above.
How long we retain your data
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.
Your rights over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make either request, email us at info@betterwho.com.
Use of cookies
When you first visit the site, a banner from CookieYes asks which cookies you accept. CookieYes stores your answer in a cookie, so the banner does not ask again on every page. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to learn how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets its cookies only after you accept analytics cookies. Until then, it sets none. Google may still receive basic information about each page you view, without a cookie.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how visitors use our pages through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity loads only after you accept analytics cookies. It masks what you type into forms and what you choose in drop-down menus, so its recordings never show them. Microsoft sets its own cookies for Clarity and uses what it collects as the Microsoft Privacy Statement explains.
This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. Content from other websites that appears on the site may set its own cookies, as the next section explains.
Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our website.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages on this site include content from other websites. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. This is more likely if you have an account with that website and are logged in to it.
- Videos. Our videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. Until you press play, the page shows only the video’s still image, which loads from YouTube. The player loads when you press play, and YouTube’s privacy policy then applies.
- Booking calendar. The calendar on our strategy call page comes from AttractZen, a third-party booking service. It loads from AttractZen, works under AttractZen’s own privacy policy, and may set its own cookies.
- Payments. When you buy, you pay on Stripe’s checkout page, not on this site. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to the details you give there.
